This is an optional trip around the wedding day (April 6), open to those who would like to join. The only people onboard will be our party and the boat’s crew, creating an intimate setting as we sail from Luxor to Aswan. What You Will Experience...
Life on the dahabiya follows a steady routine: mornings usually begin with sailing and breakfast on deck, followed by visits to temples, quarries, and villages along the Nile. Stops typically include Daraw, Kom Ombo, Gebel el-Silsila, Edfu, El Kab, and Esna, with time to explore both well-known monuments and smaller local sites. The boat may also pause at natural riverbanks or beaches, where there are opportunities to swim or kayak in the Nile. Scenery throughout the journey includes farmland, palm groves, desert cliffs, and small riverside communities. Evenings are spent moored at a site or village, with dinner on board and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere.
